I’m an AAC and assistive technology specialist with a master’s degree in Behavioral Psychology and more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
I began my professional career in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), providing one-to-one support before moving into a supervisory role. As my experience grew, I saw how closely behavior and communication are connected. That understanding inspired me to pursue additional training and expand my work into AAC, assistive technology, and communication support.
I place a strong emphasis on building genuine, trusting relationships with the individuals and families I serve. I presume competence, listen closely to each person’s preferences, and think outside the box to create support that is meaningful, respectful, and truly individualized.
I founded Find Your Voice Journey to help each person strengthen communication, participate more fully in their community, and build greater independence—in a way that fits them.
Every person has something meaningful to communicate. I approach each individual with respect, patience, and belief in their abilities.
I prioritize building trusting relationships with the individuals and families I serve. Collaboration helps create support that feels meaningful and sustainable.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach. I think outside the box and develop practical strategies based on each person’s strengths, preferences, and everyday life.
